Nomaswazi’s (Fanele Ntuli) mother Njinji (Thembi Nyandeni) will ask for forgiveness for killing Sibonelo (Wiseman Mncube).

HOW NJINJI KILLED SIBONELO

The TVSA Uzalo December teasers confirm that Njinji will be sorry for killing Sibonelo.

Monday 2 December: Njinji sets boundaries to Nkunzi around their support for Nomaswazi.”

Tuesday 10 December: ” Njinji apologises for killing Sibonelo.”

It is unclear whether she will apologise to her daughter Nomaswazi, who recently gave birth to Sibonelo’s son or Sibonelo’s father Nkunzi (Msiza Masoja).

In the current storyline, Nkunzi asked Nomaswazi to give her son his late father’s last name instead of hers.

Award-winning actor Wiseman Mncube who played the popular role of Sibonelo exited the show on Wednesday, 28 February. Njinji buried Nkunzi alive and shot Sibonelo on the head.

The prolific stage and screen actress Thembi Nyandeni joined Uzalo as the villainous Njinji in 2022.

‘UZALO’ ACTOR’S CURRENT ROLE

The former Uzalo actor Wiseman Mncube who played Sibonelo for over five seasons landed the leading role of Nqubeko in My Brother’s Keeper.

It is unclear whether the actor’s character will rise from the dead and return to Uzalo or he’ll join another show after My Brother’s Keeper got cancelled this year.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela confirmed that fan-favourite TV show My Brother’s Keeper is cancelled.

“My Brother’s Keeper to be canned. The Rhythm World Productions produced telenovela will not be renewed for a third season,” says Mphela.

Mncube also starred in Mandoza’s biopic and portrayed King Zwide in Shaka Ilembe and Mqhele in Showmax’s The Wife season three.
