A taste of home at February’s Breakfast Indaba

The SAFFA Networking Breakfast Indaba is a networking event bringing together South African professionals and entrepreneurs in London.

Networking, great food and a dash of South African hospitality: What more could you ask for on a crisp February morning in London?

The latest Breakfast Indaba, held on Thursday, 27 February at Vivat Bacchus London Bridge, delivered exactly that.

Hosted by Terence Witten, Jaco Botha and James Durrant, the gathering once again proved why these events have become a firm favourite for those looking to connect, share insights and enjoy a proper South African breakfast.

A room full of connections

The event was nothing short of lively, with attendees diving straight into networking from the moment they arrived.

Each guest had the opportunity to present their business in a succinct two-to-three-minute slot, ensuring that no one left without discovering something new.

It was an engaging way to foster collaboration, with plenty of insightful discussions sparked over steaming cups of coffee.

Boerie rolls and peppermint crisp tart – say no more!

Of course, no Breakfast Indaba would be complete without the food.

The morning’s spread featured boerie rolls tucked into buttery brioche and the sweet nostalgia of peppermint crisp tart, much to the delight of attendees.

Erica Guyatt, Sales and Events Manager at Vivat Bacchus, summed it up best: “It was a real pleasure for us to host the Indaba breakfast here at Vivat Bacchus London Bridge. We hope we managed to bring a taste of home to all that came!”
