BUHLE IN SEASON TWO: ‘YOUNGINS’
The Youngins star Kealeboga Masango reveals to TshisaLIVE that there’s more depth to Buhle in season two.
“I feel like in this new [second] season [which started on Friday], there is more depth to Buhle. She no longer makes everything about herself, but she cares more about others. There’s a sense of growth she experiences in the friendships she has with the Olifantsfontein five, you’ll get to see the façade of her being a powerhouse drop,” says Masango.
The actress adds that what’s most important to her as an actress is to make people feel seen and heard.
She also reveals that working on Youngins is more enjoyable because she works with people her own age.
“The beauty of working in this production is that my cast members are my age, so we relate to each other a lot and can have fun on set. We gel better together and that makes us understand each other better and therefore the chemistry you see on screen is real,” says the actress.
The second season of Youngins premiered on Showmax from Friday, 15 November.
