‘Make South Africa Great Again’: Thousands of Afrikaners gathered outside the US Embassy in Pretoria to thank President Donald Trump …

Over 3 000 white South Africans have gathered outside the offices of the US Embassy in South Africa in Pretoria.
This after US President Donald Trump issued an executive order granting Afrikaners asylum or refugee status in America.
The large crowd handed over a memorandum thanking the controversial president for speaking out about SA’s “racist laws.”
This includes the recently signed Expropriation Act, which seeks to expropriate property for a public purpose or in the public interest.
THOUSANDS OF AFRIKANERS THANK TRUMP OUTSIDE EMBASSY
In videos posted on social media, a large crowd of Afrikaners were seen outside the US Embassy to SA in Pretoria on Saturday, 15 February.
Many members of the community held up posters thanking US President Donald Trump for his criticism of the SA government over what he believes is “racial discrimination” against white South Africans.
The crowd was led by Willem Petzer, an “Afrikaner commentator,” who claimed that over 3 000 Afrikaners had marched to the Embassy.
According to Visegrád 24, over 144 000 Afrikaners signed a memorandum that was handed to authorities. In it, they pledged their support for President Trump in his actions against SA.
The publication claims that white South Africans are urging the international community to “recognize and condemn the ANC’s racial laws”.
‘VICTIMS OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION’
According to the US Embassy in SA, the wheels are in motion for the asylum process for white South Africans.
In a statement, the embassy claimed that the US Department of State was coordinating with the Department of Homeland Security to “promote and prioritise humanitarian relief.”

For those seeking refugee status under the Trump administration, this meant that the US was working on the consideration of eligibility for admission and resettlement of the Afrikaner community, who were “victims of unjust racial discrimination.”
