For his next house, French artist Etienne Meneau wants to live in a transparent, floating cube in the middle of a forest clearing. This prototype is made using the safety net from scaffolds—it’s kinda like a fancy hammock. Meneau is convinced it could be habitable.
It doesn’t have any furniture or the ability to hold a human without breaking—yet—but Meneau fully intends to live in a house that floats in mid-air someday.
