The alleged booking fee and hospitality rider of an Amapiano artist, De Mthuda – real name Mthuthuzeli Gift Khoza has been doing the rounds on social media; several netizens have since taken to the comment section with shocked reactions.  

WOW! DE MTHUDA’S ALLEGED BOOKING FEE

Social media users were left with their jaws dropped after seeing what is alleged to be De Mthuda’s booking fee. According to the document posted on X (the social media platform formally known as Twitter), the Emlanjeni hitmaker’s alleged booking costs a whopping R40 000 for an hour set.

DE MTHUDA’S ALLEGED HOSPITALITY RIDE

According to the document, De Mthuda’s alleged hospitality rider includes the following:

  • 2X Hennessey VSOP
  • 1X Jägermeister
  • 4x Red Bull
  • 4x Tonic water
  • 3X Juice
  • 3X Water
  • Food platter for four
  • Hubbly

Earlier this year, during a South African Creative Conference, event promoters are said to have complained about the exorbitant and alcohol-drenched hospitality riders by South African artists, ZiMoja reported. 

“We have the Amapiano artists that hardly pitch for events. They complain about flights, they are unprofessional and demand expensive alcohol that costs more than the booking,” a Botswana promoter, Leko Kenosi, was quoted as saying.
