Elon Musk says ‘YES’ to US welcoming white SA migrants
Contradictory? Elon Musk, Donald Trump’s right-hand man, believes white South Africans immigrants should be welcomed in the US.
Elon Musk has fuelled racial tensions once again with his comments that white South African migrants would be welcomed in the US. This comes a day after US President Donald Trump accused SA of “confiscating land” and treating “certain classes of people very badly.”
Elon – who left his hometown of Pretoria at just 17 years old – has previously called out SA for “pushing for the genocide of white people.” This week, he also accused SA President Cyril Ramaphosa of promoting “openly racist laws.”
According to his parents, Errol and Maye Musk, Elon immigrated to avoid an Apartheid conscription requiring white males to serve a mandatory two-year service in the military. He now serves as the head of the White House’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
ELON MUSK WOULD WELCOME WHITE SOUTH AFRICAN MIGRANTS
In one of his latest controversial tweets, X founder Elon Musk sided with a tweep who sympathised with white South Africans.
X user @jonatanpallesen tweeted: “White South Africans are being persecuted for their race in their home country. Also, white South Africans are one of the few population groups that are fiscally positive when immigrating to Europe.”
The tweep added: “We should allow more immigration of white South Africans.”
The tweet caught the attention of Elon Musk, who responded, “Yes”.
Although Elon was born in SA, he became a naturalised US citizen in 1992.
The 53-year-old also reposted a tweet that claimed the recent Expropriation Bill is “stripping white farmers of their land.” The tweep also bemoaned the “warning of anti-white policies.”
AMERICANS ARE NOT IMPRESSED
Elon Musk’s tweet comes amid a backlash from US President Donald Trump’s vow to crack down on illegal – and legal – migrants.
This has resulted in the mass deportation of migrants who called the US their home.
Elon’s tweet was posted on a US blog where many Americans called out the South African-born businessman.
@dantaesmom: “So the problem isn’t immigrants, it’s brown immigrants!”
@dockadee: “So white South Africans can come over, but Mexicans can’t?”
@entertainmenteaucnt: “I am sick of him! And immigrants running the government”.
