Actress Baby Cele has set tongues wagging after a video of her ‘wedding’ was posted on ‘Kwanjomane’s’ TikTok account.

BABY CELE GETS MARRIED?

Actress Baby Cele is known for her resilience in love. The former Uzalo star is making headlines after her wedding video was posted on the Kwanjomane TikTok account.

While the actress hasn’t posted any wedding content, Kwanjomane shared a video showing her walking with her partner to the marquee where the ceremony was held.

In the clip, they can be seen sitting down while the crowd ululates and cheers.

As per Kwanjoman’s page, the actress had umembeso, a Zulu traditional ceremony that is a part of the lobola negotiations.

The ceremony includes gifting the bride’s parents and family before the wedding.

BABY CELE ON HER FAILED MARRIAGES

Cele has had her fair share of failed marriages having been married three times before. She referred to her first husband as a monster due to his abusive behaviour.

Her second marriage was in 2009 with Mandla Mabuza, and her third was with businessman Thabo Maloka.

During a 2023 interview with Lungelo KM on the Engineer Your Life podcast, she shared her experiences regarding her most recent divorce.

The actress surprised everyone by disclosing that she had been divorced for two years.

She claimed that she had come to terms with divorce and it no longer caused her pain.

“I have mastered divorce, honestly, it doesn’t hurt anymore because I just believe that if a marriage no longer works it should end,” she said.

“As a sangoma, my ancestors gave me all the signs that it was time to end the marriage, I was really happy but the signs were too loud and I had to make the decision. Right now I am single and mingling and I am happy.”
