Flamboyant media personality Somizi Mhlongo has seemingly responded to his baby mama, Palesa Madisakwane after she made wild claims about him.

Palesa and Somizi share a 30-year-old daughter, Bahumi Mhlongo, and on Boldy Owami’s podcast “To Hell and Back,” she revealed shocking details about their co-parenting relationship.

The actress disclosed that she didn’t know Somizi was gay until after she became pregnant because he did not exhibit behaviours associated with being gay.

She also mentioned that when she fell pregnant, she faced criticism for allegedly trying to trap Somizi with a baby due to his sexuality.

PALESA ACCUSES SOMIZI OF NOT SUPPORTING HIS DAUGHTER

Palesa Madisakwane’s recent appearance on Boldy Owami’s podcast “To Hell and Back” has sparked a heated debate online.

During the podcast, the former Generations actress shared that their 30-year-old daughter, Bahumi, is still struggling despite her father’s financial stability.

Palesa shared details about Bahumi’s birth, stating that allegedly Somizi distanced himself and even wanted a DNA test. She also accused him of not providing financial support to his daughter despite Bahumi’s ongoing struggles.

Palesa said she was not speaking out to tarnish Mhlongo’s reputation but to share her own side of the story regarding parenting with him.

“Bahumi is still not financially stable; she doesn’t have a place of her own and stays with me, her mother. She also drives my car,” she said.

The Ashes to Ashes actress mentioned that the flamboyant star bought Bahumi a car in her 20s, but it was later involved in a car accident and written off.

She mentioned that both she and Bahumi contribute towards her Uber rides when she needs to attend auditions. Palesa also addressed rumours about Bahumi living a lavish lifestyle, clarifying that she doesn’t even have a car.

“It’s good that she is still hustling like any other young person. The way people try to portray Bahumi, as if she’s a spoiled child with a bank account full of millions, is just not true.”

‘I WISH HE COULD SUPPORT HIS DAUGHTER’

The former ANN7 news anchor said that she wishes Somizi would support their daughter. Despite Bahumi being criticised for being 30 and the public insisting she should be independent, Palesa believes that a wealthy parent like Somizi should help their child where needed, without spoiling them.

The star also discussed undergoing a DNA test and taking Mhlongo to the maintenance court.

“It was so embarrassing, but I had no choice. Even then, he insisted that Bahumi was not his child. He wanted a DNA test, and it came back positive.

“While we were in court he couldn’t even look at us, he just looked away and stood miles away from us. When the results came out I just cried because I felt humiliated and disgraced,” said.

She mainantained that Somizi is still not suporting Bahumi saying:

“Even today, Somizi is still not supporting Bahumi. I’m responsible for her well-being. She is 30 years old, but she’s not financially stable. And she’s still living under my roof; I’m the one taking care of her,” she said.

SOMIZI SEEMINGLY RESPONDS TO HIS BABY MAMA

Somizi has seemingly responded to Palesa in a subtle way through a video shared on his Instagram account.

The Metro FM host posted a video of himself lip-syncing to “Lord Don’t Move That Mountain,” a song by Inez Andrews.

The lyrics of the song say:

“Lord, I don’t bother nobody
I try to treat everybody the same
But every time I turn my back
They scandalise my name.”
