South African singer and actress Anlia Etzebeth, the wife of Springboks lock Eben Etzebeth, shared a look inside their Christmas with family, via an Instagram post on Tuesday 7 January.

“Christmas 2024 ☺️🎄✝️. My hart is vol❤️,” she captioned the post.
This past Christmas marked the pair’s first Christmas as parents. Eben and Anlia welcomed their first child together on 16 January in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal. Eben plays for Durban-based rugby team, The Sharks. The pair were in Cape Town for Christmas, but are returning to Durban.
“And our time in Cape Town comes to a end. Incredible time spent with family and friends over the Christmas period. May 2025 be a blessed year for everyone 🎉,” wrote Anlia.
Fans expressed that they wanted the pair to stay in Cape Town.
“The Cape is the best! Just staying here. Your family is here too,” wrote @swanepoelamelia.
“Time for you to permanently move back to the Cape, after all, is your home,” wrote @rindienel.
“Eben I think it’s time to rejoin Stormers. The cape is calling you,” wrote @marcus.pretorius48.
