Kaizer Chiefs left winger Nkosana Mbuthu is making headlines against the backdrop of his recent Instagram post.
KAIZER CHIEFS STAR MBUTHU FLAUNTS R2 MILLION RIDE
Mbuthu, who has since starred for the senior team, recently took to the picture-sharing app to flaunt a sleek Range Rover Sport.
In the now-viral video, the Kaizer Chiefs star was seen seemingly driving at a farm.
However, photos and videos of the car have since gained thousands of comments and reactions since they dropped online.
Little is known about whether the Kaizer Chiefs star owns the car. On the other hand, petrolheads were quick to include the car’s price tag in the mix.
Surprisingly, the car costs a fortune. The publication has since established that the car Nkosana Mbuthu was driving cost R2 million.
However, prices tend to differ depending on the year of manufacture, trims, and extras. Some fans were more than convinced that the car belonged to his father, who earned a fortune during the peak of his career.
Nkosana Mbuthu is the son of Patrick ‘Ace’ Mbuthu. The former SA national under-23 and Kaizer Chiefs midfield star, Patrick ‘Ace’ Mbuthu, wowed many with his flair and command of the game.
He is often dubbed one of the best central midfielders who donned the Kaizer Chiefs jersey.
However, if the car happens to be his, he joins a host of young Premier Soccer League (PSL) stars who have made headlines with their cars.
CAREER
The Kaizer Chiefs winger first made headlines when he travelled with Amakhosi to Turkey for pre-season in July.
He joined a host of youngsters, including Mfundo Vilakazi and Donay Jansen. Kaizer Chiefs’ DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) midfielder Manqoba Ozoemena also travelled with the first team.
After the big win, he joined the senior team but has had his fair share of bad headlines. Nkosana Mbuthu was dragged online for his poor display against Young Africans in the inaugural Toyota Cup.
He made some errors, one of which led to a goal. After all, this was the 19-year-old’s first match, and he had not worn the first-team shirt before.
Nabi explained that he kept him on the pitch to avoid damaging his confidence. After all, in recent years, celebrities have splurged thousands, if not millions, on some of the world’s flashiest cars.
