TITO MBOWENI’S STEW RECIPE FAIL

In his latest kitchen adventure, Tito Mboweni shared a look at another light night cooking class.

He tweeted from his home in Makgoebaskloof this week: “It is cold. So, a lamb stew is a good idea. So here goes!”

But unlike the name suggested, Tito added a pre-packed tray of beef pieces instead.

He continued: “Now we are good to go! On your marks, get set and go! Lamb stew tonight!”

Tito added his usual astronomical quantities of peppers, onions, and beef. But tweeps were more amused at him mixing up the names of two animals.

One tweep commented: “At what stage of cooking does beef turn into lamb?!”. Another added: “It’s written beef on the package, but you decided to change it to lamb, or it changes when cooked?”.
