Thanks to her huge social media following, she often trends whenever she posts or gets posted online.

The seasoned actress, best known for her on-screen characters in big-budget drama series, including Generations, was spotted driving a new Ferrari in a now-viral clip.

Since it was posted online, the video has undoubtedly gained thousands of comments and reactions. Fans and fellow celebrities were quick to flood the site with congratulatory messages.

Several tabloids and blogs have since confirmed the news despite the actress not publicly confirming the purchase news.

MDN News shared the clip on X and captioned it, “Sonia Mbele showing off her brand-new Ferrari.”

Against the post, petrolheads quickly gave her new car a nod while others connected the dots about its model and price tag.

Car enthusiasts were convinced that Sonia Mbele’s car looked like a Ferrari 488 GTB.

The car is one of the most sought-after Ferraris, with a base price tag of R4 million in several dealerships nationwide. However, the actress has yet to confirm the model openly.

After all, with her recent alleged purchase, Sonia Mbele joins a host of South African A-listers, including MaMkhize, who have splurged thousands, if not millions, on the Italian automobile.

Her recent purchase has undoubtedly thrust her rumoured fleet into the mix. In recent years, she has been spotted driving around in several cars, including a Rolls Royce.

However, she has not openly confirmed the cars as hers.

Sonia Mbele has also wowed many with her rumoured mega-mansion, which she often posts online. Little is known if she still stays at her mansion in Bryanston – a leafy suburb in Johannesburg.
