Referee
As reported by The South African website, the Test at the Cape Town Stadium will be refereed by England’s Matt Carley.
Carley has refereed six Tests involving the Springboks, four of which they have won.
Crucially, perhaps, the Springboks have won both the Tests against the All Blacks in which Carley has officiated.
Carley was in charge of the Springboks’ 30-14 win against Wales at the Cape Town Stadium in July 2022.
