Rassie Erasmus’s team will host the Pumas in South Africa – at a venue yet to be confirmed – on Saturday, 27 September.
The two teams will then travel to the United Kingdom for the second match a week later on Saturday, 4 October.
Tickets for the match at the Allianz Stadium (formerly known as Twickenham) are expected to go sale next month.
Shortly after that fixture, the Springboks will return to Europe for a challenging end-of-year tour in 2025, starting on 1 November against Wales in Cardiff.
That clash will be followed by matches against France (Paris), Italy (TBC) and Ireland (Dublin).
Mid-year Springbok fixtures
The Springboks are set to host Italy (twice) and Georgia in July before they launch their Rugby Championship title defence.
They will host Australia (twice) and tour New Zealand for two matches during the Rugby Championship while facing Argentina at home and then in London.
South Africa will then head north in November as per usual where they will kick off their tour against Wales in Cardiff, facing Warren Gatland’s charges for the third time in 24 months.
That will be followed by the confirmed Test match against France in Paris, the first meeting between the two nations since the 2023 Rugby World Cup quarter-finals – which the Springboks won narrowly 29-28.
The following weekend South Africa are set to face Italy for the third time in 2025, before completing the year with a clash against Ireland in Dublin.
The Springboks and Ireland shared the spoils in their two-Test series in July 2024 and the clash at the Aviva Stadium will no doubt be viewed as a belated series decider.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that the host stadiums for South Africa’s six home Test matches will be decided at a SARU meeting in early February with Ellis Park and the Cape Town Stadium considered as early favourites for the Wallabies matches.
Loftus Versfeld and Hollywoodbets Kings Park are also likely to host Springbok matches while Mbombela and Nelson Mandela Bay are hopeful.

Meanwhile, the Springboks kicked off the New Year in the No 1 spot in the World Rugby rankings.
In fact, they will look down on their rivals for the whole of January 2025.
However, things may well change once this year’s Six Nations is up and running.
While none of the southern hemisphere nations will be in action until mid-2025, the northern hemisphere heavyweights will duke it out in the Six Nations, starting on Friday, 31 January.
A successful defence of their Six Nations title could well see Ireland regain the top spot, while France could also go close depending on whether results go their way.
