Butler, who turned 52 on the day, has appeared in a number of award-winning films during his career.
He perhaps wouldn’t have been too happy, however, witnessing his Scotland side go down 30-15 to the world champion Springboks.

He was big enough however to pose for pictures with Springbok skipper Siya Kolisi – who he appeared to be in awe of – but was also all smiles in holding a green and gold jersey.
