The Springboks entered the weekend 0.03 behind the All Blacks in the rankings, but picked up 0.49 points after thrashing Scotland 30-15 at Murrayfield in Edinburgh.

The All Blacks could’ve retained their top spot in the standings had they beaten Ireland in Dublin, but instead crashed to a dd defeat.
New Zealand’s finest lost 1.34 points to slump a full 1.81 points behind the Springboks.
