Where you can watch Springboks’ Chasing the Sun 2 documentary
Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus has said the ‘Chasing the Sun 2’ sequel has been made for the ‘people of South Africa’.
In what has been a hugely popular development, it was confirmed last year that the Springboks’ ‘Chasing the Sun 2‘ documentary will be aired soon, with the 2023 World Cup triumph set to be the centrepiece.
The latest trailer for the documentary has now been released, while it’s also been confirmed that it will first air on 24 March.
The five-part series is the sequel to Chasing the Sun, the award-winning story of the Springboks’ journey to capture the 2019 Rugby World Cup, and the sequel will premiere on M-Net and SuperSport on 24 March 2024.

Chasing the Sun 2 is about more than rugby however, touching the hearts of all South Africans and, much like the world champion Springboks, aims to give hope and inspiration to a country often required to triumph against the odds.
Springbok head coach Rassie Erasmus said: “The people of South Africa were a real motivation for us during the World Cup and we really were playing for them.
“This documentary is one way we can give back to South Africa by sharing our experience from the inside, warts and all.
“We cannot wait to give South Africans insight into our journey to winning the title.”
Chasing the Sun 2 – proudly brought to screens by Toyota, Betway and Spur – will air on M-Net (DStv channel 101) and on SuperSport Grandstand (DStv channel 201) on Sunday, 24 March 2024.
