The sublime finish laid on by Sadio Mane against Burnley to complete a stunning team move has won Liverpool’s Goal of the Month for August.

Mane’s strike pipped Mo Salah’s opening day effort on a fan poll to bag the first such award of the season.

The Senegalese striker fired home to make it 2-0 to the Reds in the victory over Burnley at Anfield after fine build-up play between Virgil van Dijk, Harvey Elliott and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
