Walter is the younger brother of former Amakhosi striker Knowledge Musona, who played for Chiefs a decade ago and is still highly rated by Khosi fans.

“It’s true that Kaizer Chiefs have shown interest in Walter(Musona). What I am not sure of is when is when they want to have a look at him,” Soccer Laduma said.

The publication said that Amakhosi could bring the striker for trial during the African Cup of Nations tournament while the Premier Soccer League(PSL) is on a break.

“They(Chiefs) need a striker as soon as they can. You know Ahsley du Preez is injured and the other strikers have not been doing very well and that’s why they need another striker who would push the others,” said Soccer Laduma.

The Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League has recently concluded and Musona could be available in the next few weeks.
