Gilberto on leaving Orlando Pirates after 7 months
Betway Premiership giants Orlando Pirates made a bold move last week. Gilberto was loaned out to Petro de Luanda.
Orlando Pirates’ Angolan winger Gilberto has rejoined his former club, Petro de Luanda, on loan until the end of the term.
GILBERTO ON WHAT HAPPENED AT ORLANDO PIRATES
Speaking to Angolan media Bola Em Campo after arriving in the East, the 23-year-old winger believes adaption and limited game time got in the way of his success at Orlando Pirates. “I’m back home, a home I know very well and it’s to make things happen,” said Gilberto, as per iDiski Times. “The adaptation was a little bit difficult and I also lacked opportunity. It’s a house (de Luanda) that I know and knows my capabilities. We will give our everything to achieve everything,” the Orlando Pirates attacker concluded.
