Damn, really wish I had friends who were more like you. I'm one of the few people in my group of friends with cooking skills that extend beyond boiling water or hitting a few buttons on the microwave. And of course the place I'm in now has next to no real space in the kitchen or to entertain, so I can't even host decent dinner parties.

 

Oh, come on! I don't believe your cooking skills are that limited! Anybody can make a simple dish!

We don't have that much space here so I went over to my friend's place. I was cooking for 7 people and I didn't have much time to prepare so I made roast chicken. However, my dessert was the main attraction. It was chocolate cheesecake with a hint of lemon zest. This particular dessert was my first attempt and it was a resounding success.

I quite like roast because it's so easy to make and it's versatile as I had a chicken sandwich for lunch and I shall be having chicken soup with some of the leftover stock.

You need to find yourself a woman with a decent size kitchen and she may show you how to find your way around the kitchen.

 

Oh, I know my way around a kitchen, I just lack access to one. It is most of my friends who are clueless.

I also make a killer New York cheese cake. However I have no idea where my spring form pan went. Last I remember seeing it was taking a cake to a friend's place in it, but they claim they haven't seen it. Oh well, likely for the better. I never got around to getting the numbers right for a small one, and making a large cheese cake is not something you want to do while working toward weight loss.

Sorry just re-read your previous statement. Your friends are with the limited cooking skills. Plus, I only made the cheesecake because it was for 7 people,otherwise, I wouldn't have bothered.
