Kaizer Chiefs closing in on PSL forward?
Kaizer Chiefs could already be looking to their next window after signing three players in the January transfer window with a PSL star targeted.

Kaizer Chiefs made three signings in the January transfer window, and look to be planning for the next one.
In total, Chiefs signed 10 players to help new coach Nasreddine Nabi in his first season at the club.
Chiefs have made 10 signings this season
At the start, Chiefs signed Bongani Sam, Rushwin Dortley, Fiacre Ntwari, Inacio Miguel, Gaston Sirino, Bradley Cross and Njabulo Blom. After that group failed to inspire Amakhosi up the Betway Premiership table, January came with reinforcements. Nabi was given the additions of Tashreeq Morris, Glody Lilepo and Thabo Cele. The three have gradually helped their new side become more steady with their displays.
Now according to Soccer-Laduma, Chiefs are looking to sign Mfundo Thikazi from Royal AM. Thikazi has been a long-term target for the Glamour Boys and now according to sources, could be closing in.
Thikazi next?
“Yes, it’s not the first time Chiefs have shown interest in him (Thikazi). But in the past things were not finalised but as the way things are going now and looking at Royal AM’s situation, his move to Chiefs is possible. It could happen at the end of the season. Things are looking good and it could be good for the player as well,” said one source to the same publication.
Another source has spoken about the contract situation of Thikazi and how feasible a move to Chiefs could be.
One year left on Royal AM contract
“There are some players at Royal AM whose contracts are coming to an end in June and they are reluctant to sign new contracts because of the current situation but with Mfundo (Thikazi) he is still contracted to Royal AM and Chiefs have to buy him if they are interested in him. But I don’t think that will be a problem as I don’t think he will cost too much,” said the second source.
Should Thikazi sign for Chiefs, he would be adding to a growing number of exciting attackers at the club. Amakhosi fans, would you like to see the tricky Royal AM star at your club? Feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings in the comments below.
