Cele picked up his fourth yellow card during Chiefs’ match against Mamelodi Sundowns over the weekend, ruling him out of the crucial encounter at FNB Stadium. With his ability to dictate play and maintain possession in tight spaces, Cele’s absence will force coach Nasreddine Nabi to rethink his midfield setup.

Chiefs conundrum: Who will step up?

Since his arrival, Nabi has struggled to find the perfect midfield combination. Constant tweaks and changes have highlighted the ongoing search for the right balance. Cele seemed to be the missing puzzle piece, but now, Nabi must turn to his squad depth to fill the void.
