Kaizer Chiefs have seen their first exit of the January transfer window confirmed as the window edges to a close.

Chiefs have signed three players and may look to add at least one more, but also look to offload players.

Chiefs signed three players

On Monday, Chiefs announced three signings to boost them for the second half of the season. So far, they have done just that, after announcing three players with quality and experience on Monday. Chiefs confirmed the signings of forwards Glody Lilepo, Tashreeq Morris and Thabo Cele with one or two expected on deadline day. These signings come on the back of an over reliance on younger players by coach Nasreddine Nabi since his arrival.

It was well documented that the signing of Morris would see DRC winger Christian Saile moving the other way.  He has now since been announced as a SuperSport United, in a six-month loan deal from Chiefs. In fact, he has been thrown straight into the team for their Nedbank Cup tie against Magesi FC

Saile to SuperSport confirmed!

Saile is not expected to be the only outgoing for Chiefs during the transfer deadline day. There have players linked with exits, with the likes of Mduduzi Mdantsane and Zitha Kwinika mentioned. Players like Happy Mashiane and Bongani Sam have also struggled for game time. This could allow the Amakhosi management to allow those players an opportunity to get some game time else where.

It now remains to be seen if Saile will still have a future at Chiefs after his temporary spell at SuperSport. Amakhosi are expected to go even harder for more quality in the final third of the field  in the close season. A good run at Matsansantsa could see him get a permanent stay or put himself in the shop window for another big move.

Chiefs fans, would you accept Saile back after his loan spell? Or is it the to finally move on? Feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings in the comments below.
