‘Khune is the only one I haven’t hit properly’
Former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates striker Siyabonga Nomvethe has a little message for Itumeleng Khune.

“There are many, but the only one goalkeeper that I didn’t exactly hit properly, one who had some serious luck is [Itumeleng] Khune,” Nomvethe told iDiski Times.
“Khune is the only one I haven’t hit properly. He is the only one; the rest I have hit them properly (chuckles). I’d look then and think this was one. Once I get the ball, he is going to leak in goals.
PSL PUNISH KAIZER CHIEFS
As reported last week, Amakhosi and Orlando Pirates were punished for spectator behaviour during the Soweto derby on 1 February.
PSL STATEMENT
“Kaizer Chiefs football club was fined R100,000, of which R50,000 is suspended for a period of 12 months on condition that during the period of suspension, they are not found guilty of the same offence,” the PSL’s lead prosecutor Zola Majavu said in an audio press release.
“Sadly and unfortunately, in October last year, Chiefs appeared before the DC facing the same charges in respect of which they were fined R200,000, of R100,000 was suspended on condition that they do not re-offend for the duration of the suspension.
“Now that they re-offended and convicted accordingly, it means the suspended R100,000 is triggered and payable immediately. In total, Chiefs will pay R150,000 plus the cost of the [Disciplinary Committee] sitting,” Majavu added.
“Orlando Pirates were also charged with misconduct arising from a missile-throwing incident by their spectators. They too pleaded guilty as charged and were fined an amount of R100,000 of which R25,000 is suspended for 12 months on the same condition that they are not to re-offend during the period of suspension.
“It therefore means they too appeared before the Disciplinary Committee in November last year facing the same charges where they were fined an amount of R100,000 of which R50,000 was suspended,” the PSL prosecutor continued.
“Now that they have re-offended and have been convicted as such, the R50,000 that was suspended is triggered and payable immediately and in respect of the new offence they were fined another R100,000 of which R25,000 is suspended and R75,000 payable immediately.
“In total, it means Orlando Pirates will have to pay R125,000 together with half of today’s costs which they will share with Kaizer Chiefs.”
