KAIZER CHIEFS PRIORITISE STRIKER SIGNING
Chiefs have identified several targets in every position.
However, their main focus is on signing a new striker.
“Amakhosi already have a clear idea of which areas need strengthening. At the tip of the list is the need for a striker with most of the goals this season having come from the supporting attackers: Gaston Sirino, Mduduzi, and Wandile Duba,” the insider stated on SoccerLaduma.
Meaning, Chiefs once again have the need to sign a clinical finisher in front of goal. So, every transfer window they are linked with striker targets.
Unfortunately, they continue ti sign players who underperform in front of goal with the likes of Christian Saille and more recently, Ranga Chivaviro failing to make the much-needed impact in front of goal.
Interestingly, they are set to re-visit their interest in a former target.
AMAKHOSI SET TO RE-VISIT INTEREST IN FORMER TARGET
Fiston Mayele is once again in Amakhosi’s books.
Except this time he is their priority transfer target.
“They are expected to try once more to land Mayele’s signature,” they added on the same publication.
Therefore, Chiefs will once again pursue Mayele’s signature. Amakhosi management want to finally fix their problems in front of goal and they believe Mayele could be the answer.
However, he certainly won’t come cheap to the Soweto giants. According to Transfermarkt, the Pyramids FC striker is valued at roughly R30 million.
IS FISTON MAYELE THE ANSWER TO CHIEFS’ PROBLEMS IN FRONT OF GOAL? IF NOT, WHICH STRIKER SHOULD THEY SIGN TO TURN THINGS AROUND AT NATURENA?
