Kaizer Chiefs: A mass firing of coach and players is on the cards
Kaizer Chiefs is on the brink of letting several key figures go.
Kaizer Chiefs are trying to turn things around following their worst season in club history.
Cavin Johnson was relieved of duty shortly after the 2023/24 campaign, making way for former Young Africans coach Nasreddine Nabi.

Fast-forward to today and Kaizer Chiefs lie sixth on the log with five wins, five losses, and three draws, suggesting there may be more dark days on the horizon.
Nabi firing imminent?
Reports of a possible exit ensued after the Chiefs’ latest PSL outing, which saw them loose 1-0 to Golden Arrows, caused a divide amongst AmaKhosi management, with some believing they should cut their losses early.
“There was a meeting just like after every game to analyse what went wrong against Golden Arrows but the issue of the coach (Nabi) was then discussed,” SoccerLaduma reported.

Three player’s on the verge of leaving
It isn’t only on the sideline where Kaizer Chiefs’ hierarchy is thinking of pulling the plug – several players are expected to leave in the coming months.
Christian Saile seems set to leave this January with Chippa United and SuperSport monitoring the situation, whilst defender Happy Mashiane is attracting interest from Stellenbosch FC, who could be intertwined into a Fawaaz Basadien deal.
Another player facing uncertainty is Reeve Frosler, who has entered the last six months of his contract.
