Nasreddine Nabi furious with Kaizer Chiefs’ new signing—Is this the end?
Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has a lot on his plate, including two new troublemakers. Do you think he’s fair?
Kaizer Chiefs have another troublemaker on their hands, Gaston Sirinó.
Before the international break, it was new defender Inacio Miguel’s two suspensions in his opening two months that was causing a stir at Chiefs.
Now, the Uruguayan midfielder has been called out for foul play.
According to Siya sources, “the midfielder allegedly fakes injuries and refuses to train. Only to return to action as matchday approaches.
“This pattern of behaviour has reportedly caused frustration within the Kaizer Chiefs camp. This especially with head coach Nasreddine Nabi and the club’s management, who expect a high level of professionalism. The 33-year-old’s actions have already led to disciplinary action, with the club making it clear that such behaviour cannot continue.
“Although there is a sense of understanding regarding the pressures that players face, Sirino’s conduct has been deemed unacceptable, and it has begun to affect his standing within the squad.”
Advice for Miguel
Former Kaizer Chiefs defender David Kannemeyer commented on Miguel’s ill-discipline on the pitch, saying, “He’s a good defender, but I think he should learn to keep his cool and be a bit calm when he’s playing,
“I think it’s frustration, but as a leader and being a captain, sometimes he’s doing well in that field.
“Well [bookings] happen in football, if things are not going well you end up, doing those wrong actions. Those actions come with consequences that may haunt the team. If he corrects that, get less bookings, Miguel will improve his game without a doubt.”
Is Nabi right to be angry with the Kaizer Chiefs midfielder?
