Kaizer Chiefs NOT in talks to sign Nabi’s top target
Kaizer Chiefs are yet to open talks to sign a player Nasreddine Nabi is desperately chasing. Here’s all the important details!
Kaizer Chiefs are looking to bolster their squad in the January transfer window.
The Glamour Boys have struggled to get going under Tunisian tactician Nasreddine Nabi, and now, the club are set to tap into the market to improve his squad for him.
Chiefs have been linked with a number of quality players including some of Nabi’s former stars!
26-year-old Tanzanian attacking midfielder Feisal Salum has strongly been linked with a move to Naturena during recent weeks.
Salum, who enjoyed a glorious spell under Nasreddine Nabi at Young Africans, is one of the Tunisian’s priority targets.
However, Azam FC spokesman Hashim Ibwe has refuted claims that Kaizer Chiefs have opened talks with them over the signature of Feisal Salum.
Azam refute Salum to Kaizer Chiefs reports
“We can confirm that there have been no discussions between Kaizer Chiefs or any club and Azam FC regarding Feisal Salum,” Ibwe told FARPost.
“He remains under contract with Azam FC and respects the club, which we appreciate.”
In other news, Kaizer Chiefs have been told to improve their multimillion rand offer for a Betway Premiership star.
The Glamour Boys are looking to improve Nasreddine Nabi’s squad for him by signing top quality players in the upcoming January transfer window.
Their opening offer for Stellenbosch FC’s star midfielder Sihle Nduli however has been rejected by the club!
Stellenbosch reject offer from Chiefs for Nduli
“Despite keeping quiet for some time on the matter, Chiefs haven’t given up on Nduli and that’s why they tabled an offer to Stellenbosch FC of what is believed to be around R4 million which Stellies apparently rejected and put up a counter offer of R7m,” an insider told Soccer Laduma.
“At the moment it’s also not yet clear whether Kaizer Chiefs will negotiate on that R7 million or whether they are giving up on Nduli. But at the moment Stellenbosch are also looking at that amount of R7 million and they are willing to sell him.”
Should Chiefs break the bank for Salum?
