Kaizer Chiefs target wanted in North Africa!

Kaizer Chiefs face competition for one of the PSL’s most in-form strikers. This would be a huge signing for AmaKhosi.

Kaizer Chiefs have long admired the talents of Sekhukhune United striker Andy Boyeli.

The Congolese baller has bagged six goals in his debut season, putting several clubs on notice. AmaKhosi is in the market for an out-and-out attacker, and Boyeli is undoubtedly that.

According to SoccerLaduma, an unnamed North African club has joined the race for the 23-year-old’s signature.

“Even before joining Sekhukhune United there were teams interested in him both in South Africa and North Africa as well. Now, there is new interest from North Africa,” the publication confirmed.

“The club has followed his progress since joining Sekhukhune and they are happy and impressed with what they have seen in him.”

Another source believes a Boyeli sale will be lucrative for the Limpopo outfit, saying, “This could be one of the best deals for Sekhukhune United. Yes, they made a good deal from Elias Mokwana but with the interest in Boyeli they could benefit even better than with Mokwana and they are believed not to want to stand in the player’s way when everything goes through.”

More firepower targets

Another striker on Kaizer Chiefs’ radar is Prince Dube.

“The club [Kaizer Chiefs] is evaluating the realistic chances of signing a striker, and as things stand, Prince [Dube] looks the most promising option,” a source confirmed.

“The other strikers they have been eyeing, such as Michael Olunga and Fiston Mayele, appear difficult to secure, which is why attention has shifted to Dube. He’s also performing well for Yanga at the moment,

“There are other positions the club wants to reinforce. But the striker and left-back positions are at the top of the agenda. The striker they are currently focusing on is Prince Dube from Yanga in Tanzania.”
