CHIEFS PLANNING TO FREE UP FOREIGN SPOTS

The PSL’s foreign quota permits five international players per Betway Premiership side.

So, following the return of Edmilson Dove to Naturena, Chiefs have filled up all of these spots. However, Amakhosi management are planning on bringing in one or two international players.

Therefore, Chiefs foreign-based players are at risk of leaving Naturena. Specifically, goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari who faces a likely exit in the next transfer window.

“They are already planning for next season and looking at the players, they want to bring in other foreign players so Ntwari is one of the players to be sacrificed to open up a foreign spaced. I think it’s all about which goalkeepers they want to keep and that’s how it’s believed that this decision came about,” the insider stated on SoccerLaduma.

Furthermore, Ntwari is currently valued at roughly R10 million (R9.7 million), according to the latest player values on Transfermarkt.

IMMINENT EXITS MEANS IMMINENT SIGNINGS

Chiefs are aiming to free up space to sign in new foreign-based/international players.

Therefore, if Ntwari leaves, Amakhosi will sign an international star. Meanwhile, THREE goalkeeper targets are linked with Chiefs. This includes international target, Stanley Nwabili from Chippa United.

In fact, Chiefs have offered this star in a deal in a bid to sweeten the deal in order to lure this massive signings to Naturena.
