Kaizer Chiefs have identified three goalkeeper targets currently playing in the PSL.

Kaizer Chiefs are set to sign and offload several stars in the next transfer window.

Moreover, Amakhosi has already identified over five targets and five likely departures. Now, they are monitoring not one, not two but THREE goalkeepers from rival clubs within the BetWay Premiership.

CHIEFS MONITORING GOALKEEPER OPTIONS

Chiefs are still looking at Nigerian goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabili.

Moreover, Amakhosi are willing to sacrifice one of their own players in a swop deal to secure his signature. Furthermore, another two rival goalkeepers are on their radar.

Meanwhile, Chiefs’ latest target is goalkeeper, Xolani Ngcobo.

“Amakhosi are seeking to strengthen their goalkeeping department and are considering Ngcobo as a potential addition to their squad, not necessarily as a first choice stopper,” the report read on SNL.

Meaning, he is one of the options being looked at to bolster Amakhosi’s depth in goal.

Finally, Chiefs are also monitoring former Sekhukhune United player, Toaster Nsabata. He currently plays for Zesco United in Zambia.

KHUNE TO WORK WITH AMAKHOSI IN THE FUTURE?

Chiefs legend, Itumeleng Khune is no longer an Amakhosi player.

However, he is an Amakhosi legend and he is a part of the Soweto giants visions for the future. Given his reputation, experience and wisdom he could help the club a lot.

“Yes, the club still wants to work with Itu [Khune]. They feel that he still has a lot to offer outside the playing field and that’s why the talks never stopped,” SoccerLaduma confirmed.

“The club understands that he has other responsibilities in his life but they are looking at a possible way of formulating a conducive working partnership which will suit both parties and that’s why they are still talking to him regarding that position in the marketing and commercial department with Jessica,”

“[Another way he could] contribute to the team is by teaching the young goalkeepers the ropes,

“For now it could be for the marketing and commercial department but they also want him to do his coaching badges and impact his knowledge to the young and upcoming goalkeepers,”

“The club believes he still has a lot to contribute to the team in terms of teaching the young goalkeepers the ropes as he has been there and done almost everything for the team. So, no matter which department works for him, the club still wants him back” the report on the same publication concluded.
