Kaizer Chiefs will be introducing a trio of new players in the next seven days.

THREE PLAYERS AT KAIZER CHIEFS

As confirmed in recent reports, Amakhosi coach Nasreddine Nabi has three new attacking options. Naledi Hlongwane is arriving from the reserve team, Tashreeq Morris from SuperSport United, as well as Glody Lilepo from Valenciennes FC  in France. Kaizer Chiefs are expected to make the announcements anytime before the transfer window closes next week.

SUPERSPORT UNITED HIJACK CHRISTIAN SAILE’S MOVE TO CHIPPA

Kaizer Chiefs’ Christian Saile is no longer moving to Chippa United, SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt has confirmed.

According to last week’s report, Congolese forward Saile was on his way out of Amakhosi to Gqeberha to join Chippa on loan. “SABC Sport has established that Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United are close to agreeing a deal for striker Christian Saile,” said Mazola Molefe.

“The Glamour Boys are desperate to free up a foreign spot in anticipation of signing an international forward and this potential move would be ideal for the club to bring in a replacement almost immediately. Saile joined Chiefs exactly two years ago from Zambian outfit Nchana Rangers with the hope that he could replicate the form that made him a household name at his former club and on the continent.

“But after a total 49 matches in all competitions, the DR Congo striker has managed only six goals and has featured more as a wide player.”

GAVIN HUNT CONFIRMS TASHREEQ MORRIS EXIT AND SAILE ARRIVAL

“Yeah, he just came in two months ago,” Hunt said on Morris via FARPost. “Well, for us, you know, obviously it’s a blow, but you know, it’s a great opportunity for him. And you know, I mean, how many players [have left us]?

“Financially [the move] will help him [Morris], so it is a no-brainer for the boy, so what can I do? Yes, he is coming in,” Hunt said.
