Monnapule Saleng’s Orlando Pirates SALARY REVEALED!
Orlando Pirates are paying Monnapule Saleng well, but apparently not well enough. Here’s exactly how much he earns.

Monnapule Saleng hasn’t featured for the Orlando Pirates since early December, and albeit fit and healthy, he doesn’t look likely to return anytime soon.
The former Moroka Swallows winger is in a behind-the-scenes spat with the Buccaneers over what he feels to be an unjust salary.
According to Saleng’s friend, Boikanyo Maine, the PSL star earns R70,000 per week:
“If he was not an important asset, Bafana could not have called him. We are requesting that Pirates consider what he wants,
“It’s unfair, imagine getting R70 000 but your contribution in most of the matches speaks volumes, while somebody [else] is getting R500 000.”
How much he makes in a year
If Saleng’s confidant is correct, the Orlando Pirates salary is:
- R70,000 (weekly)
- R280,000 (monthly)
- R3,360,000 (annually)
Agency speaks
The Buccaneers agency, P Management Sports, has remained vague on the situation, saying, “We are aware of the ongoing speculation surrounding our client, Monnapule Saleng,
While we have refrained from making public comments due to the sensitive and confidential nature of the matter, our silence should not be misconstrued as an endorsement of the narrative being presented against him,
“This matter involves significant issues at the core of the employer-employee relationship that require resolution. Our client remains committed to addressing these matters through the appropriate legal and professional channels,
“Given the confidentiality of the matter, we will not be engaging in further public discussions. Our priority remains to act in our client’s interests while advocating for a fair and amicable resolution. We trust that the proper processes will lead to an outcome that serves the best interests of all parties involved.”
