Nedbank Cup draw: Pirates and Chiefs handed tricky away trips
The Nedbank Cup draw was conducted and Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will face tricky fixtures next month.

Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Kaizer Chiefs have all avoided facing each other in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals, following the draw that took place on Monday.
The three teams reached this stage of the competition after winning their respective round of 16 matches over the weekend. Kaizer Chiefs secured a convincing 3-0 victory against Chippa United, while Orlando Pirates edged out Baroka with a score of 3-1. Mamelodi Sundowns defeated Mpeni Home Defenders 2-0 at home.
Ahead of the Nedbank Cup draw, many fans were hoping for a Chiefs vs. Pirates matchup in the quarter-finals. The two teams had recently played against each other, with Pirates winning, thanks to a late penalty from Patrick Maswanganyi.
This outcome left some Amakhosi fans unhappy due to the referee’s decision to award the penalty.
Who are Chiefs and Pirates facing in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals?
In the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup, Kaizer Chiefs will travel to Cape Town to face Stellenbosch FC. This season, Chiefs have had the upper hand against Stellenbosch, winning both home and away matches.
On the other hand, Orlando Pirates will take on a struggling SuperSport United, who they previously eliminated in the MTN8 quarter-finals earlier this season.

Durban City 🆚 Marumo Gallants
Mamelodi Sundowns 🆚 Royal AM / Mil / Sekhukhune
