Orlando Pirates are planning to offer one of their Bafana stars in a bid to secure this massive signing.
Orlando Pirates are planning to recruit some stars this PSL January transfer window.
Meaning, Jose Riveiro and Bucs management will be building squad depth this month as they strive to be competitive in the Betway Premiership and CAF Champions League.
PIRATES PLANNING TO OFFER BAFANA BAFANA STAR
Zakhele Lepasa is one of the players Pirates are planning to offload.
Moreover, the Soweto giants are considering offering him to PSL rivals. This, in an attempt to sweeten the deal to bring Thabang Matuludi to Mayfair.
“Zakhele Lepasa might be used as a sweetener by Orlando Pirates in a deal that would see Polokwane City defender Thabang Matuludi head in the opposite direction,” Phakaaati reported.
“In an effort to get him game time, Pirates are open to the idea of letting him go to City as part of the deal to sign long-time target Matuludi. The 27-year-old Lepasa, who was the subject of interest from SuperSport United recently, is yet to feature for the Soweto giants this season due to injury,” they added.
CHIEFS REPORTEDLY LINKED WITH BUCS STAR
Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly also linked with Pirates star Lepasa.
So, if these reports are to be believed then they have a golden opportunity to sign him. Ultimately, Pirates are looking to offload him. Meanwhile, Amakhosi are in the market for an attacker.
Therefore, the potential deal makes sense for both Chiefs and Pirates.
However, neither Amakhosi, nor Pirates have commented on the links.
DO YOU THINK PIRATES SHOULD SELL BAFANA BAFANA STRIKER LEPASA OR LOAN HIM OUT? SHOULD CHIEFS SIGN HIM?
