Orlando Pirates have lined up a red-hot striker who can’t stop scoring goals.

Orlando Pirates may have signed nobody in the recent PSL transfer window.

However, the Soweto giants already have plans in place for some big moves in the next transfer window.

PIRATES IDENTIFY PROLIFIC SCORER

Muzomuhle Khanyi is one of the form players of the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

“Muzomuhle Khanyi is playing the best football of his career and he has been scoring goals in the Motsepe Foundation Championship. Even before he scored the hat-trick this past weekend, there has been a lot go interest in his services from top flight clubs and it looks like it will be difficult for Hungry Lions to hold onto him beyond this season,” the source stated on SNL.

Moreover, Pirates are now interest in signing Khanyi.

“Pirates are the club that has showed so much interest in the boy. He has been on their radar since the beginning of the season, and it looks like the club is now preparing to make a formal approach in preparing for next season. Don’t be surprised if the boy makes a big move next season,” he added.

Furthermore, the Bucs are set to compete with several PSL sides in the race for his signature.

The same publication confirmed interest from Stellenbosch FC, SuperSport United, Sekhukhune United, Richards Bay FC and Magesi FC.

BUCS MANAGEMENT CONTENT WITH CURRENT SQUAD

Jose Riveiro and Bucs management opted against recruiting new signings in the recent January transfer window. So, this is a clear signal of how content Pirates are with the current crop of players.

Moreover, Pirates are set for huge matches in the CAF Champions League and BetWay Premiership.

The Bucs have qualified for the quarter-finals of the CAFCL. Additionally, they are set to take on defending PSL champions, Sundowns in a top of the table clash on Saturday, 8 February 2025.
