ORLANDO PIRATES TO TRAVEL TO ALGERIA

While most Betway Premiership clubs will be preparing for domestic games this weekend, Jose Riveiro’s side will have the weekend off before the biggest game of their season next Tuesday. Kick-off will be at 21:00.

GILBERTO TO LEAVE ORLANDO PIRATES?

Orlando Pirates are expected to have a new jersey number 11 next season. The 24-year-old winger joined the Buccaneers on a three-year deal from Angolan giants Petro de Luanda at the start of the season. With just three appearances in the first round of the season, Gilberto was loaned back to Luanda during the January transfer window. According to Soccer Laduma, Orlando Pirates are keen to sell Gilberto back to Luanda when the loan deal ends in June.

SIYABONGA NDLOZI DREAMING BEYOND ORLANDO PIRATES

Orlando Pirates defender Siyabonga Ndlozi made his Sea Robbers debut in the CAF Champions League against the mighty Al Ahly this month. The 22-year-old is said to be aiming to play abroad.

“That’s how high he is aiming, believe it or not,” a source told Soccer Laduma. “He is a very confident player, and his dream is to play overseas. The first move was to break into the Pirates first-team, and now that has been achieved, he is working on cementing his place in the team to boost his chances of a European move,” said the source.
