Orlando Pirates Karim Kimvuidi set for PSL exit – He wants out!

Orlando Pirates could be forced to part way’s with the highly talented Karim Kimvuidi. Would this be a good move?

Orlando Pirates youngster Karim Kimvuidi has only managed twenty-three appearances since joining in 2023.

The talented attacking midfielder has shown glimpses of his potential, able to twist across opposition and cause headaches for defenders; however, with one appearance in the last seven games, he hasn’t managed to find his footing as Thalente Mbatha and Kabelo Dlamini continue to edge him out of the starting roles.

The 22-year-old DR Congo native is reportedly eager to leave the PSL on his quest for regular minutes – Orlando Pirates hope a loan deal will satisfy the former Maritzburg United man.

“Kimvuidi is one of those players one might say is unfortunate because despite being so talented he finds himself in an environment where he is competing with stars for a position, and it has been difficult for him to break into the team,” SoccerLaduma stated.

“He is a good player who can do very well at any other club but unfortunately, he is limited for game time where he is because of the competition.”

According to SL, the promising prospect has interest from North Africa and Congo – Kimvuidi not interested on a move in the PSL.

Maswanganyi on the way out?

Patrick Maswanganyi is eyeing a return to Europe amid interest from former club UD Oliveirense.

“It’s no longer just about an inquiry, it’s about negotiations now,” a Siya source confirmed.

“They really want him back in Portugal. They are looking at the progress he has made and they are happy to bring him back to Portugal. It will all depend on what Pirates are looking at or if UD Oliveirense can afford what Pirates will be asking for Maswanganyi.”

“The only issue that is there now is the R40 million that the club has put on Maswanganyi’s head. You know he is one of the best players now in the country and if the club wants that amount then UD Oliveirense should meet or make it even better than that. But since they are believed to have opened up negotiations then it will all depend on their offer that they table to Pirates.”

Should Kimvuidi leave Orlando Pirates?
