Orlando Pirates starlet wants out of Soweto!
Orlando Pirates could soon be forced to part ways with one of their own.

Orlando Pirates youngster Siyabonga Ndlozi has his eyes set on Europe.
The right-back has enjoyed a breakthrough season, amassing seven appearances across all competitions. Jose Riveiro has him bookmarked for the future, but Soweto isn’t where the 22-year-old pictures his career being.
“That’s how high he is aiming, believe it or not Siyabonga Ndlozi. He is a very confiedent player and his dream is to player overseas,” SoccerLaduma revealed.
According to the report, Ndlozi views the Buccaneers as a platform for bigger things; “The first move was to break into the Pirates first-team, and now that has been achieved, he is working on cementing his place in the team to boost his chances of a European move.”
One can’t blame the defender for wanting a shot at Europe, but referring to Orlando Pirates as a stepping stone might not be the best move.
Title race back on?
The Buccaneers defied the odds by beating Mamelodi Sundowns to claw themselves back into title contention. A Relebohile Mofokeng double in the opening five minutes sent fans into dreamland and proved enough to walk away with three points.
Riveiro believes there’s still a chance. The fans are equally optimistic.
“Every point is important in a league where it seems there’s one team who’s going to finish close to 80 points, probably by the end of the season,” said the Orlando Pirates manager.
“So obviously if you want to compete with them, when you look at the schedule, you cannot say to yourself, ‘Okay, here if we get a point, it’s fine’, or even today playing against them, ‘If we get a point, it’s going to be alright’, it’s not.
“You have to always fight for the maximum points, and again, it’s a pity that we’re not arriving in this game – obviously we’re going into the space of the ‘ifs’, but still we have four games more to play than them,” he added.
“It would have been nice to have [had] those games played already, come here and maybe, I don’t know, even if we are six or seven points behind them and even three points, just that little advantage would give the game a different dimension, I’m sure.”
Can Orlando Pirates win the league?
