Orlando Pirates transfer news: Who’s in and who’s out?
Orlando Pirates had a quiet January transfer window, but the technical team and management are not bothered at all by that.

The January transfer window has slammed shut in South Africa, and there were a few movements at Orlando Pirates.
Perhaps, a section of Pirates fans is unhappy with the club’s mid-season transfer dealings.
However, in all honesty, the Buccaneers did not really look like a team desperate to bolster their squad.
And that is because of the size of their current squad coupled with the fact that they are doing extremely well.
Domestically, Pirates have been impressive while also raising their hand in the CAF Champions League.
Jose Riveiro’s charges are in the quarterfinals of Africa’s biggest club competition for the first time under the Spanish mentor.
Now, The South African takes a look at who Pirates signed (if any) and which players they let go in January…

WHO’S IN AND WHO’S OUT AT ORLANDO PIRATES?
The Sea Robbers did NOT bring in any new faces during the January transfer window despite being linked with a number of players.
Polokwane City duo of Oswin Appollis and Thabang Matuludi were heavily linked with possible moves to Pirates.
However, nothing came out of those reports as Rise and Shine stood firm and held on to their stars.
Pirates, though, did let go of THREE of their players, albeit on loan, in Gilberto, Katlego Otladisa and Jabulani Mokone.
Gilberto went back to Angolan giants Petro de Luanda, Otladisa joined Sekhukhune United while Mokone joined Upington City.
Mokone, an exciting diminutive right-back, was playing for the Pirates DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team.
The good news is that Pirates were able to hold on to Monnapule Saleng after all the rumours that he could leave the club.
