Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye has made a bold prediction ahead of the Soweto Derby between Amakhosi and Orlando Pirates.

The 39-year-old former footballer says the Buccaneers have the best players in the country and their desire to compete for the Betway Premiership should see them prevail on Saturday. Speaking on iDiski TV, Khanye expected Pirates to score at least three goals against Chiefs in the derby.

He did mention however that the match won’t be easy but does not see any of the new Chiefs signings causing problems for the Sea Robbers.

“It’s not going to be an easy game, it will surprise many people. Pirates are currently the best team(compared to Chiefs),” Khanye added.

“Cele I wont comment much but he spent much of his career overseas. He will be under pressure,” he said.

Junior Khanye expects Pirates to beat Chiefs

“The signing of Morris is questionable. I don’t understand, you release Saile and bring in Morris, it’s like you haven’t changed much. But Saile came on first and he scored(for SuperSport United) but the pressure he had at Chiefs is not at SuperSport.”

The former Kaizer Chiefs star says Patrick Maswanganyi, Relebohile Mofokeng and Tshegofatso Mabasa will score for Pirates.

“Tito Maswanganyi will hit the net tomorrow. There’s nothing that will stop him, the stage is set for him,” said Khanye.

“Relebohile is going to score one or two, and if he doesn’t score two, he’ll score one and also provide an assist. Mabasa is going to score one and there is a possibility that Chiefs will score one, Final score will be 3-1,” he added.

Khanye expects Pirates to dominate Chiefs on Saturday scoring at least three goals.
