PSL’s priciest stars: Top 10 most valuable players in the league
The PSL has an array of high-figure players; find out the top ten here.

The PSL may not have the affluence of Europe’s top five leagues, but one can’t ignore the amount of budding talent on the scene.
From Mamelodi Sundowns to Orlando Pirates, giants of the game are noticing what South African football has to offer. Earlier in the season, Barcelona was reportedly monitoring 20-year-old phenom Relebohile Mofokeng, while the Glasgow Rangers had eyes on Iqraam Rayners.
The most star-studded team belongs to Masandawana, which is on course to win its eighth title in a row. Another trophy would extend its historic seventeen-time champion status.
So, it should come as no surprise to see Sundowns dominate the top ten most expensive players list.

Pirates to face life without Riveiro?
Orlando Pirates, who have tabled a three-year extension to Jose Riveiro, may soon see the Spanish boss leave after three illustrious seasons at the club, winning everything but the PSL.
“There is an offer for the coach to continue for another three years, but he has asked to wait until the end of the season. His main wish is to win the league, and if that happens, he may leave because he misses home,” a source explained.
“The league title may decide the coach’s future. That’s what’s believed as things stand. Nothing has been agreed upon because the coach hasn’t made up his mind,
“He has made it clear that he misses home and family. And will only consider his future at the end of the season. However, the club has already opened talks with his representatives, hoping for the best outcome.”
