Kaizer Chiefs have been hit by serious crisis ahead of their Soweto Derby encounter against Orlando Pirates on Saturday.

Kick-off at the FNB Stadium is at 15:30.

KAIZER CHIEFS IN SERIOUS STRIKER CRISIS

Amakhosi recently beefed up their striking department with the acquisition of Tashreeq Morris.

The Glamour Boys also added Congolese attacker Glody Lilepo to their ranks in an attempt to ease their goalscoring woes.

However, the duo are not available for selection for this crucial match against arch-rivals Pirates.

Morris is serving a two-match suspension for the red card he was shown whilst on the books of SuperSport United.

Lilepo, on the other hand, is still waiting for his work permit having only joined Chiefs from French third-tier side Valenciennes this week.

Furthermore, speedy strikers Ashley du Preez and Wandile Duba are out injured, and not in contention for the Bucs game.

This leaves Nasreddine Nabi and his Chiefs technical team with only Ranga Chivaviro as their out-and-out striker.

And what this means is that Chivaviro has a big chance of starting against the Sea Robbers with the likes of Mduduzi Shabalala, Gaston Sirino and Pule Mmodi providing support.

However, it may not be long before Amakhosi’s striker crisis is solved as Morris and Lilepo could make their debut against AmaZulu on Tuesday, 4 February.

HOW SHOULD NABI DEAL WITH THIS CRISIS?
