Two Orlando Pirates playmakers wanted in Europe, ONE will leave
One will definitely leave.
Orlando Pirates have big decisions as wealthy suitors hover around their talented squad looking for deals.
Karim Kimvuidi needs game time
According to Soccer Laduma, Orlando Pirates are considering a loan deal for Kimvuidi. The Congolese playmaker arrived at the club as a teenager to much fanfare. He impressed for Richards Bay in the 2022-2023 campaign, making 29 league appearances for them that season. Kimvuidi only appeared 17 times in the 2023-2024 league season in his debut campaign for the Buccaneers. This term he’s chalked up just two outings in the Betway Prem and seven in total across all competitions. Clearly, he needs to move elsewhere to get valuable minutes.
“It’s like this because they don’t want him to just sit on the bench or in stands for a long time,” a source told the outlet. “He is still young and he needs to keep on playing and a loan move would give him that chance. No, I can’t say there is a team but Pirates want to loan him out so that he gets more game time.

Maswanganyi is a wanted man but Pirates would need a massive offer
According to SoccerLaduma, Orlando Pirates playmaker Patrick Maswanganyi is a target for second-tier Portuguese side UD Oliveirense. A source revealed that Oliveirense initially expected the player to return to Portugal after his SuperSport United stint. However, he joined Pirates instead and the rest is history. The left-footer spent a year with Oliveirense between 2019 and 2020.
“Actually, he was supposed to go back to Portugal after his stay at SuperSport United, but instead, he was signed by Orlando Pirates. Now, Oliveirense is once again interested in him,” the source explained.
“Oliveirense are in Liga 2, which is the second division in Portugal. That would be a good move, but only if there is no possibility of another move to other leagues where he can play in the first division like the PSL here at home,” another source shared.
Where should Kimvuidi go to get some much-needed game time?
