France certainly didn’t beat Argentina 3-1, and they certainly didn’t win the World Cup. He was also wrong about Mbappé scoring twice, because he actually got a hat-trick. We’re not sure whether or not Messi did cry, but if he did, there were tears of joy coming out of his face. Griezmann was superb throughout the tournament but chose an awful time to have an awful match. In truth, most of his teammates were bad too.
