THE INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS IN CAPE TOWN
“By midnight on Monday, the large external pumps were switched off, as the repaired internal pumps were successfully maintaining flow levels at the station. When teams departed the site at 02:21 on Tuesday morning, 8 April 2025, both internal pumps were fully operational, and the pump station had been restored to normal functioning,” read the City of Cape Town statement.
