In order to support essential conservation work by SANParks, Chapman’s Peak Drive will be closed every Wednesday in February and March.

In order to support essential conservation work by SANParks Table Mountain National Park, including the removal of invasive alien vegetation, Chapman’s Peak Drive will be closed every Wednesday from 10:00 to 16:00 on the following dates:

February: 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th

March: 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th

Use alternative routes

According to Chapman’s Peak Drive social media pages, these efforts are crucial for preserving the unique biodiversity of the Cape Floral Kingdom.

During these times, motorists – and cyclists and runners – are urged to use alternative routes to ensure their safety and support our conservation initiatives.
